the most common way of checking mails on Linux is with a mail client. A mail client is a software application that you install on your computer and use for accessing, managing and composing mails. The most popular mail clients for Linux include Evolution, Thunderbird, KMail and Sylpheed.

fetchmail
This will start fetching mails from the given server.
The last way of accessing mail on Linux is through webmail. With webmail, you can access and manage your mails through a web browser. The exact URL for webmail varies from mail server to mail server, but typically it is something like webmail.cdxwcx.com. All you need to do is open the URL and log in with your credentials to access your mail.
